John Ball retired from General Dynamics Land Systems after a distinguished 38-year career, John retired from the Senior Leadership Team (SLT member) as Director - Canadian Programs, a position held since August 2013. In this role he had responsibility for all Canadian Programs profit & loss, program performance and client relations. Mr. Ball previously held the position of Director Sustainment Services, General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada.

Prior to his most recent assignments, Mr. Ball was the Program Manager US Army Stryker Vehicles General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada. Mr. Ball also held managerial assignments for GDLS-C in Support Services Project Management, Stryker Reset Operations Site Manager Ft Lewis, WA and Manufacturing Programs in London Ont.

Mr. Ball brings to this position 38 years of experience in the defense and manufacturing industries and has held positions of increasing responsibility starting his career in Engineering design for transit coach and light armored vehicles at General Dynamics Land Systems Canada formerly known as General Motors Diesel Division and GM Defense. Mr. Ball progressed through Engineering, Manufacturing, and Services performing leadership roles in Production, Locomotive Contract Maintenance, Manufacturing Programs – Product Launch and Program Management.

Mr. Ball holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
